Paul C. Oglesby Jr., of PCO Design, cites many influences on his work which range from Bauhaus to Islamic design and architecture. His expert manipulation of raw concrete is apparent, and his artistic eye for form is well honed. The geometric pillars seem as much at home in front of 1940s and '50s bungalows as they are gracing the facades of modern architecture.
We've decided that a xeriscaping approach is most likely the best way to tackle our back yard. As we plan raised bed gardens and crushed granite paths, I am definitely working in some works by Oglesby into my dream yard. As inspired as I am to turn grand ideas into DIYs, for my skill set, I think I might leave this one to the true artist!
