I made a New Year's resolution. Okay, I made more than one. But this one will hopefully get me organized enough to follow through with the others. I resolve to carve out a niche in my tiny abode to house a fully functioning, super hip, cheerful home office. Do you have the same resolution? Here are some inspiring photos of petite home offices that will hopefully get your New Year started off on a stylish note.
1: The deep green walls look sleekly sharp against the bright white furniture. I know we've seen this print for, like, ever, but I never seem to tire of it. This could work for me with the addition of drawers, maybe a slender white rolling metal file cabinet would do the trick.
2: Love the neon chair paired with the tailored upholstered seat. Of course an inspiration board would be fabulous, but I fear mine would make the space feel more cluttered. What's the trick to this? Any suggestions?
3: Yes, this does not seem like a very practical work space, but clear off a few plants, make room for a laptop, and voila! Plus, staring at this ikat chair everyday would be a dream.
4: If only I had a spare closet! This look could be modified to work in an armoire too. Efficient and lovely.
5: A sunny spot to start the day. This desk appears to be a built-in, but you could definitely achieve a similar look by painting a vintage desk. The monochromatic color scheme is a pretty way to blend the living room and office.

Question: In the first picture, with the "For Like Ever" poster... Does anyone know what desk that is? Or where might I find one similar in look and size? Pretty please ;)

Love the first picture! Check out our blog at www.studiobcreativejuice.blogspot.com
Though the "For Like Ever" poster is up there with "Keep Calm and Carry On" for me, I have to say, I like that office. The green and blue make it work.
I have a little home office in my apartment, but I can't seem to make myself use it! I'm a couch writer/worker/blogger/potato it seems. Maybe I should add that to my resolutions.
Yes!!! I have the same resolution. I'm going to use this article and the office space in "Nicole's So Haute Home House Tour" http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/house-tours/nicoles-house-tour-123379 as my inspirations. I was fortuante enough to take advantage of a Groupon for an interior designing consulting services. I will be sharing this with the designer.
Thank you for excellent ideas.
Where can I find that adorable chair in the first pic with the For Like Ever poster? I love it! The arms and the rolled headrest are so elegant without being stuffy. Does it swivel too?
Where oh where did that sweet lil' bed come from in the 5th photo? I am in the process of making an office and sleeping/couch is a must! We are struggling with this. Any advice?
I would really like to know where the Virgin Mary/flaming hearts pillow is from.
I have had number #4, the blue office closet, bookmarked on my computer for almost a year. It is actually from Country Living - and it also has step by step instructions on how to create it, if you are inspired.
