It's always interesting to see where different people draw inspiration from. Especially when it's advertising. When good pal Becky from Hatch (Design Public's blog) sent us this new photo from wallpaper maker Decor Maison we flipped out. The Michael Thonet rocking chair! The high gloss black finish on those logs! The books! We love everything about this photo.

I too love the black logs!
Sarah Palin would love that wallpaper for her office...
...she could use it for target practice.
seriously???
The lacquered logs are pretty clever. Wallpaper, no.
my parents used to have that rocking chair.
i like the stack of old books.
It will be funny to see how much influence Alaska will have on design after all of this Palin stuff. The NYTimes just declared that all-weather lumberjack looks are back - Burberry ,Cahartt, etc.

When did lumberjacks EVER go out of style???
Especially the Tom of Finland ones! ;)
Not a fan of this look.
This should be a guilty pleasure, over blackout curtains that don't match.
Ack!
Patrick - Ha!
