We recently moved into our new abode, and we're still getting settled. One of the things we've been thinking about is how to keep the view from our many windows and yet gain a little more privacy. We just remembered this photo from one of our favorite sources of inspiration, Tine K.
We love the look of the clustered silver pots -- notice only a couple of them actually have plants in them -- and think doing something similar just might work for us.

I love those. Saw similar ideas in a gardening magazine about a decade ago, for outdoor use. I want to get those galvanized alum tubs Maxwell wrote about (for Ursula's pool) and use them as window boxes on my rancher.
Awesome idea, totally cool visual, but .... what would you put inside the empty ones?
Careful. Metal pots often leak or moisture condenses on their surfaces leading to damage to wood surfaces. Always put some kind of waterproof saucer in the container before adding plants.
