We've always wanted to add a bit of pink decor into our space but weren't really sure if we had the style pink called for. Once we started digging through the AT archives, we realized pink is the new black (it goes with just about anything--even red).

White walls are desperate for a little bit of life. Why not bring a shade of pink into your space?

We found quite a few inspirational pics of warm brown tones mixed with pops of pink
.
We'd love to see spaces mix up orange and pink more often.

How about painting a small powder room pink? A little girly-ness can be offset with masculine black accents.

Just curious... isn't it a fire hazard to cluster tissue paper flowers around a lamp? Looks cool, but I'm not sure it's safe!
Pink and green, yes indeed, also your pink and brown is lovely. Pink and orange can mix very well, but not, I think in the example above. When I plant impatiens, I like to mix up magenta, pink, orange, and purple.
Speaking of which, anyone else starting to have serious spring fever?

I can't imagine how dusty those paper flowers must get!
I just have to say -- I hate pink. Am I the only female who hates pink, or does it just feel that way? And it's EVERYWHERE. sigh.
I tend to think of pink as something for a girl's nursery. Some of these are awesome.

i really really realllyyyy hate pink
i mean theres places where its good
but i'm not a big fan
pink could never be the new black. it can be a lovely and useful color, but i think you need a bit of black in a room (or at least chocolate or charcoal) to keep things sharp and grounded.
I love the simple roll-up shade on the small window.
I used to be the one girl in the room who hated pink. And now...I want it. Everywhere. It's kind of freaking me out.
Does anyone know which period or style is the sideboard (6th photo down) with the pink mirror?
I'm going to paint the inside of my front coat closet a bright pink. I think I'll smile everyday looking at that surprise pop of color.
I am the insane person that loves the pink and orange combination (with lots of white, not a lot of brown or 'wood'). It started when I found some beautiful fabric that was a mixture of pinks and oranges in an abstract wave pattern. I covered some canvasses with the fabric and grouped the fabric canvasses together as wall 'art.'
The hard part is finding the perfect shade of pink paint, something that is bright and deep. The shade of the chair (with the white desk) is lovely.
