While the economy right now isn't quite the best time to splurge on home decor, that doesn't mean you can't spruce up your space with small and elegant details! There are a number of elegant and sumptuous spaces in Austin, and we’ve brought you one to help inspire your own simple and luxurious home makeovers...
Starlite, the hip restaurant located on Colorado Street in Downtown Austin, offers visitors to the space two distinct but connected dining atmospheres. The lower floor offers dining guests a more modern and casual feeling, with wooden tabletops, airy furniture arrangements and high ceilings.
The newly renovated upstairs offers dinner guests a more intimate and formal atmosphere, featuring cozy banquettes, lower ceilings and soft lighting. The restaurant’s second bar is located on the upper floor and is accompanied by a modern and comfortable living room area. The upper floor gives off the impression of a swanky loft more than a public restaurant.
We’ll be going into more detail of some of our favorite ways Starlite incorporated simple yet luxurious details in an upcoming post. In the meantime, tell us what you think about Starlite!

That first photo kind of makes it look like a senior's center.
i do love starlite, and almost everyone that works there is a good friend of mine, including the chefs, but they still need to get rid of that damn rug/carpeting. some dark or reused hardwoods, even scored concrete would work way better.
yeah.. these pictures do not do starlite any justice.
Those dining chairs are just hideous.
