MORE/REAL Stylus Cap Converts Pen For iPad Input

Over the Christmas holidays, my sister asked me about stylus options to use with her new iPad. I sent her a few options and she hit up the Apple store in NYC and picked up a decent pen to use with her new tablet. But now I realize there is a much easier and much less expensive option.

My sister absolutely loves drawing while commuting to and from work on her lunch break; she never can tell when the drawing itch will hit her. So obviously it's important to have a pen stylus that is convenient and small enough to keep with her whenever she has her iPad with her.

I came across the MORE/REAL Stylus Cap that turns a Sharpie, Bic or Pilot pen into a Stylus pen via a cap that fits right on top. Unfortunately it's not a real product yet — but I thought it would make a really great DIY project. The cap can be made from pretty much anything that would fit over your regularly used pen and the tip is made from a conductive rubber that you can get pretty much anywhere.

I'm curious if any of the Unplggd readers have made their own stylus pens? If so, share your experience with us!
