Teal (my favorite color) seems to demand white and chartreuse (or some version of yellow-green) to accompany it, doesn't it?
I am actually painting my room a lovely shade of turquoise right now... well, I'm currently taking a little break from the painting. But I'm half-done and it's sooo gorgeous. I'm so glad to see this color popping up everywhere.

I like blue but the shades that I seem to gravitate to the most is turquoise, teal, ultramarine, and cobalt with navy for more conservative semi formal wear such as suits and blazers.

i've been on a teal kick all year. i agree with the white/chartreuse comment, and would throw in mustard and lilac into the mix
I've been drawn to the color in pictures for quite a while, but I doubt I would chose it for my own home since I like more muted colors. It is one of those colors that seem to work so well for people who have colorful spaces.
I love the color too, but I'm concerned how much of it I see. I don't want anything I coat it in to seem dated (avocado green for the aughts?) in a few years.
I think teal (especially as an accent in accessories) is pretty timeless, cashba. Like I said, it's my favorite color, so I have been watching it for years, and there have always been Egyptian faience hippos and turquoise sculptures from Asia and Native American cultures adding a pop of color to interiors. Plus it looks good with so many other colors that you can probably use it in various combinations that always seem fresh. (But, like anything else, I'd only get things you really love in a strong color.)
