This is such a fun, simple idea. The beauty is all in the execution. For her tenth birthday, Valeria invited her closest friends to come over and help her celebrate by making the birthday cake... or in this case, cakes!

Valeria's mom, Jackie, prepared a fun work area -- filled with brightly colored bowls, spoons, spatulas and, of course, cupcake toppings -- in the family's gorgeously sun-filled kitchen. At the end of the party, Valeria and her friends arranged their creations in the cupcake stand for a final sweet feast.
