With June's Outdoors month coming to a close here on Apartment Therapy, we'd like to share one last spot to gain inspiration from for your own outdoor spaces. Wildseed Farms isn't in Austin (it's located about an hour away in Fredericksburg, Texas) but it's such a favorite place of ours we'd still like to share it!
We've briefly mentioned Wildseed Farms in a post before, way back when we posted about the abundance of wildflowers here in Texas. We think it's worth mentioning that along with gorgeous fields of wildflowers to view, Wildseed Farms offers a lot more.
Along with the beautiful meadows to stroll around for inspiration, Wildseed Farms also features one of the largest pottery and plant nurseries in Central Texas. You can purchase wildflower seeds to plant in your own outdoor spaces from their large variety available. You can get a little refreshment from the Texas heat at their Brewbonnet Biergarten. Enjoy an enclosed butterfly garden and learn about native plants that will attract butterflies in our favorite: the Butterfly Haus.
Live in Texas and have made a trip to Wildseed Farms? What did you think? Do you have local wildflowers incorporated into your own outdoor space? Tell us about it!
