My fave are the farmer's market baskets & the radish photo. Who knew you could make a wreath out of radishes?! Problem is though, it's so pretty & it looks like it would take some work to put together, but I don't imagine it would last more than two days, no?
If someone has enough expendable food to even consider using it for decor (e.g., a radish wreath), I would hope that they would consider giving it to someone in need rather than hanging it on a country fence.
@bluepearl - Williams-Sonoma sells edible wreaths that are made of herbs, and you receive it fresh and pick herbs off as you need them. That's what I imagined the radish wreath could be. Either you make a smaller wreath of radishes and pick them off as you need them or you make it into a centerpiece for a dinner and when guests eat their salads, they can pick off radish pieces as they prefer.
Love radishes - the look, the taste - but it's been my experience that radish leaves wilt pretty quickly out in the open, so don't know how long these decor pieces would look fresh and perky....
I love your gorgeous photos and thank you so much for including my book, Farmers' Market Desserts! I hope you are finding much inspiration there and at the market. Happy summer treats!
And also the beautiful block print notecards by Rigel Stuhmiller (Drenculture), the wonderful artist who designed my web site!
Thank you so much for using my Farmers Markets Photography Collection...I am all about the Farmers Market!! Flattered you would include me ;) One of most favorite places to shoot!
Nice ideas and I love the photos! Who would have thought a radish would look so appealing.
