We're big fans of creative art ideas for walls. After all, wall after wall of framed art or canvases can get a bit boring! We especially enjoy incorporating a fun or interesting texture to a wall. We've seen lots of great ideas over the years and bring you another with today's artist...
Local artist Jennifer Prichard creates porcelain installations for commercial and luxury hospitality locations. Using the flexibility of the material and combining it with her natural talent, Prichard's art transforms spaces more than a canvas painting ever could. She also designs good-looking tiles, too. While she's not new to the design scene, we love her work so much we feel she warrants another mention.
Okay, so maybe we can't all afford to install handmade, local artist-created porcelain art installations that cover an entire wall, but it's certainly a lovely (and rather inspiring) idea. Porcelain isn't the only material available in creating awesome textural installations on a wall. We've seen great wall compositions made out of glass, mixed tapes, doilies and even toy cars.
