Inspiring Spaces

In February we saw a slew of inspirational spaces, from nurseries to older kids' rooms, shared rooms and individual rooms, as well as a play area. Check out these beautiful spaces for great ideas and inspiration.

Floor Time: "This nursery really spoke to us. We love all of the decorative details, especially the Chinese lantern light fixture, but there's something else. It's the large play area on the floor."

A Look Inside the Novogratz Home: "Clearly they have resources beyond what most of us can imagine, but that's neither here nor there for us. Whether to your taste or not, we find their home inspirational because it has real personality."

A Shared Brother-Sister Room: "The hardest thing to pull off is a bedroom shared by brother and sister. How do you create a gender-neutral space without ending up with something bland?"

Play Area: "Her philosophy is simple and necessary in a small space -- keep things visible, accessible, organized and clean. We really like the idea of using clear storage boxes for things like blocks, trains and playdough."

A Perfect Shared Room: "The main thing that jumps out at us is the symmetry in the room. We love the two small desks adjacent to the foot of the beds."
