We've seen lots of colorful kids' rooms this year, but June surprised us with a bunch of beautiful rooms that feature more muted tones. Be inspired by some great spaces from the early summer after the jump!

Kenzie's Creative Playroom: "I believe a playroom should stimulate & foster a child's thought process and enhance his or her creativity. I hope this room does just that!!"

Dallas' Vintage Modern Mix: "As for mixing vintage with modern, focus on color. Use it to tie everything together and unify the room. You can also use this technique by painting a vintage piece with a bright pop of color."

My Room: Parker Olivia: "The lanterns were my take on a classic mobile, and as my mom has pointed out, every nap and bedtime will be like a party for our little babe."

My Room: Zara: "As this is a rental we weren't able to paint the walls so we opted for an all white colour scheme and then brought in colour with the wooden letter border, the linen and cushions. This has the advantage that we can easily convert this space into a permanent guest room or study one day."

My Room: Morgan: "I had a difficult time trying to narrow down a colour scheme, but in the end I just picked fabrics I loved and went from there and ended up with this serene cream, light pink, white and dark brown."
