July's beautiful rooms were bursting with color and patterns, courtesy of paint, decals and textiles. We saw stripes, trees, and butterflies in the nurseries of these very lucky babies.
Graham's Fabric Fabulous Nursery: "I really liked the idea of using fabric to inject a lot of color and pattern into the space while still having the room feel cohesive and grounded. I also love grey, particularly with warmer colors like yellow and orange, so that provided the backdrop for the space."
Noah's Sunshine Nursery: "Create a budget, and then prioritize your needs and wants, to really plan out and maximize your resources. It also helped me to create a color and inspiration "storyboard" of sorts prior to starting the design/decoration process."
Lucy's Majorly Made Over Room: "The cheerful colors and striking stripes give this room so much personality which you'll especially appreciate when you see the before photos of this room. Talk about going from extra ordinary to extraordinary!"
My Room: Aleena: "We didn’t have a spare bedroom for Aleena, so we transformed our walk-in closet into a nursery. Luckily it was big enough for the crib (barely!) and it had an existing built-in cabinet which worked perfectly as a changing table/dresser."
Osianna's Modern Baby Nursery: "I wanted a space that definitely reads girly, but without being over the top. Despite what I imagined, I honestly had to calm my inner urge to go nuts with pink. This was surprising, as I have never been all that fond of pink prior to this pregnancy."
