If you're looking for a way to bring an immediate impact to a spot in your home, ceramic planters are a pretty sure bet. Buy a set in one hue (look for a range of shapes and sizes) and arrange them on a console table, on the floor, or on a shelf. You don't even have to fill them with plants, although its a nice touch that adds some life to the arrangement. For sources and more ideas, click below...

I agree that these are quite nice...
...but it might be more interesting, fun and cost-effective to shop for pre-owned ceramics at flea markets, yard sales, vintage stores, eBay, etc?
My entire collection of Bitossi vases, planters, lamps, etc. (different style & genre - same idea) is from these resources and has been much more interesting to collect than ordering stuff from online catalogs.
I like the look, however it is achieved. (I shop flea markets, too.) It's perilously easy to become overrun with vases, though!
Sherry, that's when you pack some of them away and rotate them out. I have a bunch my mom threw/built and am trying to find cachepots that fit inside so I can stick succulents into them.
Vases aside (love the colors!) I want that whole vignette!
I'm a big fan of CampaniaInternational.
