Torres understands contrasts, and employs them with confidence. Sure, his self-designed sofa and desk are made of concrete, but one is covered in pillows, and the other sits under a crystal chandelier, dressed in books and playful ceramics. Add a plush rug and a Magis Puppy by Eero Aarnio to the mix and you have a sensuous home full of style and quirky details. And the Brutalist-inspired conduit that snakes throughout the space in linear perfection? Simply fantastic!

cant say much for the design. but i want that chandelier! :D
I admire its design and decor, but I would be uncapable of living here. To me, it's just too cold. It's a cool place to go to dinner to if you are visiting a friend, but not to stay forever...

Wow all of that conduit bending must have taken a while. It looks really neat though. I had to use some steel conduit like that in my house where things had to be surface mounted. I love the industrial look it gives. You can see some pictures here:
