Last night we stopped by a new spot in our neighborhood...the Relax Lounge. Venus Magazine held their winter issue release party there, so we got to check out the pharmacy-inspired lounge interiors. They've definitely picked up on the metallic trend, with brass beaded curtains and bronze-colored seats. They've also played with the idea of a "pharmaceutical" bar, with a white tiled backsplash and a green cross covering the window. Click below for more photos.
We forgot our digital camera last night (and it was a little too crowded for good pictures anyway) but we did find some photos on their website.

Through the front window, you can see the gold 70's-style medallion wallpaper inside.

Gold paint, bronze barstools, and dark brown wall cabinets.

Backlit screens contribute to the pharmacy theme.

Gold chain curtains hit a few feet above the floor.

Reminds me of Schiller's in NYC.
