Oh I'm so in love with Aad's apartment. I just want to come there and be lazy. Nicolas's space is also amazing but it's a little too blank for me.

This is tough. I love both Nicolas and Aad's places. The deciding factor for me is that the bedroom photo in Aad's place looks kind of dark, gloomy, and not up to par with the transcendent living room - it may not be so, but every time I look at the photos, I get to that one and am let down.

in a year of lackluster entries this has been my favorite ever since i saw it. no other entry even comes close.

I'm confused as to why there are 8 international finalists, especially since significantly fewer people entered in that category - what's the reasoning behind that?

Group A:
Nicolas' Mini Loft (first prize)

Group B:
Bryan and Stef's Green Loft (second prize)

Runner Up:
Marcus' and Mel's Charming Flat (third prize)

Nicola's loft - first place, hands down. While lots of the American entries are scrambling to cram as much stuff into a small space Nicola takes the opposite track.

Minimalism isnt for everyone - but when it's done right, its amazing! (and, if you like AbFab it makes for great television)

This is beautiful, open, free-breathing minimalism done absolutely right.
