I’m always on the lookout for girly tech, like my latest obsession with pretty cameras. Dressing up gadgets is always fun too, whether with a new case or carrier. However, I realize guys deserve to keep their gadgets in nice covers as well. As the male members in my family have recently got their new iPads delivered, I’ve been searching for nice cases and covers for the men out there who also enjoy decking out their tech, and in this case, iPads.
Tilt iPad Case: Personally, Apple’s smart covers are one of my favorite inventions. Naturally other companies have started designing smart covers as well, and one of the best I’ve come across so far is the Tilt iPad case by Hard Graft. Made from a combination of beautiful leather and wool felt, the case rolls into a position that props the iPad up for easy browsing and typing. Watch the video below for full features on the case.
Wool and Black Leather Case: Your iPad will fit snugly in this sleeve made of thick felt that protects your tablet from all sides with soft wool. Black leather straps keep the iPad secure and also give the modern sleeve a strong masculine feel. The materials used to make this sleeve are renewable and recyclable - an added bonus.
Leather Case: This historically charming case that resembles an old leather pocketbook is made from WWII canvas that packs durability and style. It’s a nice juxtaposition of time periods to put an iPad into this classic case. The case comes with leather straps for easy carrying and becomes more beautiful with age.
Wood Cover: Another smart cover that could give Apple’s smart covers a run for their money is this Wood cover by Miniot. Just like Apple’s smart covers, your iPad’s screen turns on as the cover is removed. The cover can prop your iPad up in three different ways to provide better browsing, typing or use for the camera. Miniot products are always made from good quality wood in order to maintain sustainability. The Wood case is a nice pairing with the iPad to balance out natural materials and tech.
Perforated Snap Case: This Perforated Snap case not only looks light and airy, but it really is lightweight as the slimmest case in the Incase product line. I’m drawn to the minimalist style of this case that is also simple in terms of functionality. Simply snap the case onto your iPad where it will protect it from scratches but allow you to access all the iPad’s features at the same time.
