An industrious Flickr user has hacked a regular kitchen cabinet door to accommodate an iPad and it looks great. Not only does the hack maintain full functionality of both the iPad and the cabinet, the sound outputs to a mini stereo.
Using a few wooden slats to hold the iPad in place, the iPad is easily slid in and out of the slats. The current setup will not allow for the power plug but Flickr user MyKitcheniPad plans to fix that soon with a Dremel. Sound is output to the auxiliary input of a mini stereo and the iPad maintains fully functionality.

Cool!
See now this is the only reason I could ever fathom justifying an iPad. That way I wouldn't have to bring my laptop into the kitchen anymore.
I'm actually thinking of getting one of these generic android ipad knock offs for this very reason:

The fact that it only comes with android 1.5 is my major sticking point.
I was thinking of putting a few of these in my wood kitchen cabinets
