My husband has been a fan of Oregon Scientific for years- he grew up on a farm so he is always very weather conscious and he just loves the company's weather stations. Since I'm the kind of gal who walks outside to get the weather, I've never shared his affection, but that may be changing. Today he sent me a link to this nifty home aromatherapy system that uses technology to reduce stress and increase feelings of well-being, a concept I can certainly support as I prepare for a move to the Middle East.

The i.relax Aroma Diffuser combines aroma, light, and sound therapy into one high tech clock designed to stimulate the senses and relax the mind. As someone who has always been suspicious of those aromatherapy rings designed to sit on top of lightbulbs, I appreciate that this system used advanced ultrasonic vapor technology to break the oil into fine micro particles so it can diffuse the aroma oil into the air without heating.

Using the remote control to select from six colors or five soothing sounds creates a personlized relaxation program- perhaps the ultimate mini-escape for anyone who needs a short break from the pressures of work or home. Combining aroma, light and sound therapy into one system, the i.relax Aroma Diffuser is designed to recreate a total spa experience in the home. The system runs on AC power with a battery backup for the clock, and retails for $100 from Oregon Scientific.
