Back in August we featured the home of Flavia and Rodrigo Quintanilha, over at Apartment Therapy LA. Their Rio de Janeiro home is packed with color and functional pieces. The same goes for their daughter's room, which was so inspirational, they've built an entire store around it's design.
DouDou was born from the fun-filled and functional looks of a child's bedroom. When you enter the store it's almost as if she's really been there playing with things and reading, but has just stepped out for a moment.
If you look at the end of the long space, you can see the "cash register" down where the computer resides. Other than that feature, the rest seems to fall into place, just as a regular girls room would. We think it's a rather quaint idea and gives a feeling of love to each item before it's purchased. Things feel much different than they do inside plastic wrappers and boxes stacked high on shelves.
