In the past we've talked about all sorts of drying racks for our laundry. It's no secret that many of would rather line dry things, but if you don't have one that stores away when not in use, or one that doesn't even look like a drying rack at all, chairs are the next best thing... especially this chair!

Quite often when we see prototype items it's easy to think, "Sure that's great, but I already use sometime else to do that, why would I ever need that?" In the case of this Lean Chair, it's easy to see how a simple adjustment to an everyday item could provide a great deal of multi-tasking.

The only adjustment we could make is for those without radiators. Instead of having something that rests on top, maybe add a flip down foot to help secure it against a wall so it doesn't slide down once wet clothes are added. Then you'd be able to rest if above your wall or floor heat vent for the same effect.

We love seeing true ingenuity in action, the idea that something we use everyday could take the place of a traditional clothesline or floor rack is rather exciting. Just think—no more racks to store, no more clothespins. It's perfect!

What do you think of the idea? Let us know in the comments below!
