color dipped spoons over at The Kitchn. Well, they're back and this time their mixing and matching in the world of brass. Can you tell how these tables were made?
Old brass lamps were taken apart to reveal all these individual pieces. They were then reassembled back into side tables that offer a big punch of metallic-goodness and a little texture while keeping a small footprint. You can pick up one of their masterpieces from their webstore or attempt to make one on your own. Although the lamps you find in the thrift stores might be boring, don't discount them for their parts, you never know when that lamp might just be able to turn into your next DIY side table project. Don't forget, if it's not solid brass you can use oven cleaner to turn it into chrome! Ooh la la! Image: Ladies & Gentlemen
