Q: I bought the chair pictured when I was in college. I loved it at the time, and it's held up very well, but I'm ready for a change. I've already found some more traditionally-styled legs to go with it, but I'd like to recover the current buttons with a linen that matches the rest of the chair.
Sadly, I have zero sewing skills and know that if I tried to take the back off this chair to redo the buttons the whole thing would go up in flames. Is there a way to change up the look of the buttons without taking the back off the chair?
