Anyone who's ever apartment hunted on Craigslist knows it's an imperfect system filled with scams, fake photos, and low response rates. The market, as they say in Silicon Valley, is ready for disruption. Two sites, Apartment List and Zumper, want to make the site obsolete in the rental market. While Craigslist is still king, the startups hope to grow their user bases through accurate real-time data, verified professional photos, and landlord approvals.
