Is This a Real Folding Box Desk by Mummenthaler and Meier?

Good Questions

Q: I have a 1950's folding desk, and I have been having the hardest time researching it. I believe it's a Folding Box Desk by Mummenthaler and Meier. There don't seem to be many out there, but today I found a listing for an authentic one that has the same blue lamp and hardware.

I purchased this desk at a Salvation Army store for $50. I know it's worth much more, but I'm not sure how to tell a fake desk from the real thing. Any advice?
