Awesome ideas! This helped me think a little outside of my normal wrapping paper or newspaper approach.
It's all about recycling your saved up paper grocery bags. You just have to pay for tape and curling ribbon (which is obscenely cheap) - under $5 to wrap gifts for 25+ people? Yes please!
any chance we could see some pictures of a few finished projects? i have a ton of fabric scraps, but am not sure how to use them as wrapping.

In a pinch I've used plain white tissue paper and a bingo marker. Polka dots, anyone?
