Bobby Solomon has taken things into his own hands when it comes to the best wallpaper graphics around. I know it might seem like a small thing to some, but for those who have to sit in front of a computer for more than 20 minutes a day, having something new and fun in a place where you usually see something lame and boring, is a great thing.

The Kitsune Noir blog ("Black Fox" in Japanese and French) is Bobby's personal blog. From there TheDesktopWallpaperProject was born. each Wednesday morning (California/West Coast Time) Bobby posts up a new wallpaper designed by an artist of his choice.

Bobby is doing all the leg work in the operation, and isn't just making a wallpaper himself of some of his favorite works, oh no... he's gone all out and is emailing artists all around the world to have wallpapers made specifically for him. And because artists are generally awesome people, the work keeps pouring in. Check out all of the wallpapers (including the one released this morning) from the DesktopWallpaperProject site.

Because the wallpapers are gifted from the artists, they are all free to use. So check back each week, or if you're like us, each day to find something new to adorn your computer screen. Don't worry about finding the right size... he has them all, including ones for your iPhone and PSP.
