One of the most popular requests I get here at AT is for information about the bi-annual ham and antiques fair on the Ile de Chatou just outside of Paris. So for those of you who are planning to be in the area, here's your reminder: the bargain-hunting fun starts next weekend...
The fair opens on September 26 and goes through October 5, with its 800 stands of antiques and second-hand furniture and objects from dealers around France -- and its selection of excellent on-site restaurants and ham vendors to fuel your deal-hunting. For those who can't make it in person, take a look back at our extensive slide show from last year's edition here.
