It's Lovely, I'll Take It! Real Estate Photo Blunders

We've recently become totally hooked on It's Lovely, I'll Take It!, a Seattle-based real estate blog. Sara, the blog's author, posts reader submitted photos from less-than stellar market listings and pairs them with hilarious commentary...

Equal parts comedy of errors and horror show, the appeal of It's Lovely is really Sara's captions, which have us laughing out loud on a regular basis. They also make us feel a little better about our own House Tour photos. A few samples:

"Hopefully trash will be removed soon (awaiting approval from seller)." I'm going to start using that as my excuse, too.

Have you prepared your speech? You're probably wondering why I called you all here today...

It would've been easy to not include the ripped, upside-down sofa in this photo, so I presume there's a good reason for it being here. Like... ah...

Unless! Maybe this was the best photo possible. Maybe there's something really awful just out of the shot. Like a ripped, upside-down sofabed. Now, that would be nuts.

What is it about this house that's so disturbing? The doll, the color, the pattern, the weird angles, the way that it looks like a doll house from 1973? I do not know.

Shhh. Shhhh. It's us, the mold spores. We're sneaking into the room.

I'd be on the floor from drinking all that, too.
