I fell and twisted my ankle today while walking on a dirt path to check out Mavericks in California. It was horrible, terrible and I was so close to seeing one of the greatest and most epic surf destinations in the world. All I could think while hobbling back to the car — I wish this rental car was the most comfortable couch in the world.
My ankle is the size of a grapefruit and I'm dreaming of getting home to my own comfortable couch. But in the mean time, I've rounded up some of my favorite and most comfortable looking couches that would be great destinations for anyone with a debilitating injury.
• Cielo Graphite Sectional Pieces, CB2
• Jane Bi-Sectional, Gus Modern
• Hutton Two-Cushion Sofa, Room and Board
• Robin's Gorgeously Green Artist Barn, Crate & Barrel
• Jonas' Modern Hollywood Regency Homestead

Shaw's Original Fir...
I was lovin' the artwork, but, ehhhhh, that's George W., isn't it? Washington, not Bush. The couches are lovely. And sorry to hear about your debilitating injury.
how much is the jane bi-sectional? their website doesn't list any prices???
The Jane sectional retails for around $3000, but you *just* missed the annual Gus sale--I got that exact couch for 20% off a month ago. If you can wait until next August, do!
Yes GUS has "annual" sales all the time-$3000 still expensive for made in china..do a search its all over the web
hope the ankle heals quickly!
All of these seem to have square arms (if they have them). Any suggestions for super comfy sofa's with rounded (read: more head rest friendly) arms?
I wish I had both the money and the space for sofa in picture one.
You say "comfortable looking", but are they really comfortable? I love all these couches too, but I'd love even more to know if they are comfy to sit on.
On the topic of sectionals, we want to buy one but how do you keep them from sliding or moving apart? Given how much our couch moves, I couldn't imagine smaller pieces of a sectional staying together. We have tried rubber, two legs on the carpet and even rug stop. Any advice?
