- Inspiration for my palette:
- My color inspiration came from a painting that I have from a good friend Shannon McIntyre. The movement of the paint and bright vibrant colors make me smile and I wanted to have that feeling in my living room. I also love the gold foil accents and had those metallic touches all around the room.
- Colors used in my room
- Orange, Surf Blue, Decorator white, wrought iron grey
- Tips for using color successfully
- Don't be afraid, and try what you like. Getting inspiration from the things that you love is the best road map for any color jumping point.

I initially misread "Jackie's 'Rustic Surf'" as "Jurassic Surf." So, accidental chuckle. :)
Love the home. Very well done. Where is that sofa from?
luv the rustic-modern feel this room has! well done!
LOVE the way the turquoise wall feels like a continuation of that wave. The pelican figurine made me laugh, cute. I'd love to see the rest of the house. Great job.
Really like this, the colours are fantastic.
Luv this!
What a fun room! Love your color palette.
Beautiful room. The color scheme feels organic to the space, and the room is as comfy and livable as it is beautiful.
I love the orange of the desk against the turquoise wall. Nice!
This room is stunning. I could never put all this together so well - you make it look effortless and natural, but it's so beautiful!!! This is my favourite room so far!
Where did the wood paneling come from? It looks it's a nice reuse!
I love it! Where's the rug from?
Too awesome! Love love love it!
Thanks so much for your comments! The sofa is from Gus Modern and is their Jane bi-sectional loft size. The rug is from Dwellstudio :)
The wood we bought from a architectural salvage yard in NH and my husband made the art using leftover pieces from the wall.
I love the rug too!
Nice!
