We got a quick email from AT:Chicago reader Jacqueline, without much text but filled with inspirational photos of her small space - one of our favorite things to find in the inbox. She told us: Here is some Apartment Therapy...My TINY Hyde Park studio turned into a livable space! Done on a nearly zero budget! Jump below for all the photos:
The combo of a chaise and armchair makes for a comfortable, but not overstuffed seating area. A not too tall shelving unit performs double duty as a room divider along with providing storage. It also looks like it allows some light to filter through from the bedroom area.
Love the double duty dressing table and home office.
A small (but big enough for 2!) dining space just outside the kitchen is brightened up with pink linens and a nice print. The archway entry is fab, as is the paint detail shown in all the photos, where a bright white ceiling floats above creamy walls, making the ceiling height seem even higher.
What a cozy space - we really like the vintage feel and smart ideas throughout. Thanks to Jacqueline for sharing with the AT:Chicago community!

Oooh cute! It makes me feel not so nervous about potentially moving in a microscopic studio apt myself. :)
makes me more excited about my big-city move and sure-to-be-teeny studio i'll no doubt inhabit. inspirational!
nicely done!
gorgeous apartment, live the architecture and the decor
Cute! Great job.
i miss hyde park and its wonderful homes and apts!
Love love love your bedding.
That is a great little place-the moulding, arch, floors..mmmm!
Lovely and feminine in a very nice way. Not frilly and silly and cute. Just soft with the warmth a woman can give to a place. Hope I don't sound sexist but it just reveals so much of the personality who lives there. It's inspiring and inviting. You almost want to know the person who created this space.
I love the bedding too, and the dressing table. I also like the tablecloth treatment using two tablecloths with matching colors and contrasting patterns. It's all very homey and welcoming.
The bedding is gorgeous -- can you tell me the source of the William Morris-y bedspread and pillow?
any way to find out the square footage of this place? my bed is in the exact same spot and i'd love to replicate some of this but the footage of my place may not allow.
