Jaga Radiators: Eco-Friendly and Stylish!

Last week we got a presentation by a local radiator representative, who promised us a product that was not only very efficient with its water and power use, but also looked good. We were skeptical, but after seeing these Jaga radiators we're wishing we could change our HVAC system!Using a unique heating element design, the Jaga radiators are able to produce more heat with less water and at lower water temperatures. This means the Jaga units can be smaller than typical radiators and use less water than most. Additionally the radiators have built-in temperature sensors to adjust to environmental changes such as solar gain, running appliances, open doors or windows, etc. &mdash and because of the smaller mass the units are able to respond quickly to temperature changes.

Shown above the jump, from left to right:

  1. Heatwave: Yes that is a radiator! The Heatwave comes in four different sizes and two colors and disguises itself as a cool piece of art on the wall.
  2. Knockonwood: According to Jaga, Knockonwood is the first radiator made of wood (FSC certified!). The cabinet is made with a veneered wood with the heating element inside it's core &mdash available in 9 different woods.
  3. Mini Canal: The Mini Canal is a great way to use radiators without sacrificing wall space, because the grills are recessed in the floor. This is a great, discreet solution for small spaces.
  4. Geo: This design is made out of granulated natural stone. The Geo is available in horizontal and vertical installations, comes in a range of different stone colors, and your choice of high gloss polished or matt finish.
