Located in San Francisco's Russian Hill neighborhood, this is one of those shops that mixes vintage accessories, one-of-a-kind pieces, and new furniture in a homey way that makes you wish your apartment was as cool as the store.
The small but well curated shop is housed inside a 1925 Julia Morgan building. Everything is chosen by store owners Jeff Holt and Kathleen Navarra, who have an eye for items that feel glamorous but comfortable.
A Victorian birdcage mingles with a vintage chair redone in Schumacher fabric; romantic upholstered pieces by Oly Studio are neighbors with an industrial cage light chandelier by Tracey Kessler; and vintage maps share space with Frederico Fellini's Book of Dreams.
In addition to the brick and mortar shop, Jak Home has a website, where you can browse chairs, sofas, lighting, artwork, and accessories.

not what this post is about exactly, but i'm in love with the first column of thumbnails (1st pic in top row, 1st pic in bottom row) as a combo picture. the curve of the frame in the top thumbnail curves perfectly into the curve of the pelican's neck; the orange ottoman in the top pic is a bizarre continuation of the pelican's beak in the bottom pic. tres cool.
Great store. Love JAK!
