James Murphy Design

A few weeks back we posted a beautiful Stone Console Table from New York designer James Murphy. He has some other wonderful tables so we thought we should look at a few.

James Murphy's furniture uses "materials in a graceful extension of their natural state, synthesizing traditional furniture technique with modernism as well as streamlined forms from boatbuilding and aviation design, Asian artifacts and minimalism”.

James is represented in New York by Karkula and in Philadelphia by Behdeebahdu. (But he is happy to work with us west coasters who need to have one of his beautiful pieces!)
