Name: Jamie
Location: Dupont Circle, Washington, DC
I share my tiny (less than 600 sq ft) rented apartment with my husband. We have chic yet laid-back style that combines vintage, modern, and well-traveled objects including my great-grandmother's antique furniture, treasures from our worldly travels (which I write about on my blog, High Heeled Traveler), and original works of art hang on every wall. Our travels inspire our space.
We move to new cities often and have to fit our entire life into tiny city apartments. We live in an english basement now, and it was challenging to make the space look open and light when we have limited windows. Its always a challenge to blend my feminine with his masculine taste.
Thanks Jamie!

Nomade Express Slee...
Beautiful. Is that money blown up framed under the window? Love that!
As soon as I saw the gated windows, I knew it was a basement apartment and you've done a beautiful job in making it light and airy.
I love your grandmama's sofa..you've kept it so well preserves.
The entire space is lovely.
Really gorgeous...love the place, and I love your blog!!
Elegant, spacious .... yes, I said spacious! Congratulations!
I love the coffee table! You also have a GIANT bedroom for the square footage. You've done a lovely job giving it a really welcoming vibe (maybe that is just me eyeing the alcohol and imaging being invited over for drinks!)
The chair in front of the fireplace is a such a nice touch for a small space.
OK. I love this too much. The storage is clever and maintains the sophistication of the entire flat. Congratulations on a great design.
