Such a nice restful feeling in this room. I too love the blanket, particularly with the bright map above the bed. BOTH desks are great, especially in contrast with each other, but I would suggest that your next project in the room be redoing that closet space, which is sort of jarring in comparison with the rest of the space. Do you need a second desk, and does it have to be in the closet, against posters, with books piled haphazardly on the shelf above? I kind of like that you show it instead of hiding it, and I get that this is a work in progress. Great beginning.

I am so glad you brought up the "office", that is my boyfriends space! I wanted to show it as it was to make it seem almost like a offshoot, of the room. We currently have a tennant in our spare room and in July his office will most likely expand and move into that room! I actually gave him this "office" as a christmas present! Nerd stuff and all. He says I have taken over the house!!

i love your boyfriend's office! there are lots of treasures in there and the nook is so cozy. sometimes i just stand and look at it. but i'm glad you took over the house, queen of decorating. <3

I was going to buy that Target blanket in gray, but the reviews said that they shrink awfully and get pulls in them very easily...have you washed yours yet? I *love* the leather chair and throw pillow, btw. :)

Fizz fizz, the blanket does get pulls in it really bad! I always attributed it from having cats! I have washed it a few times as it has lost it's luster a bit but it is still a really comfy blanket!

Thanks for the reply! I'd go ahead and get one but knowing that they do actually pull easily counts me out. I have two schnauzers who like to "dig" a bed for themselves before settling down haha.
