Name: Jarrett
Location: Bronxville, New York
My one bedroom apartment has nice design elements such as a a modern, custom kitchen and bedroom cabinetry, however, at the same time remains rooted in the buildings history (it was built in the 1920s).
The decor of the apartment is modern but elegant with nice pieces and personal finds collected from international travel. I've attempted to show the spacial qualities that you can achieve through different scale pieces as well as a mixture of antiques and modern finds.
Thanks, Jarrett!

Shaw's Original Fir...
Wow! Stunning. well done.
This is truly an "eclectic" style I could live with.
is that a radiator chair? is that a diy? not the most comfortable looking but genius.
Gah! I love it.
Wonderfully put together . . . .
I think this one needs a house tour.
Ditto LAL. And I'd really like to know about that beautiful rug.
Double Ditto LAL.
That rug is gorgeous. What's the source?
Wow! Beautiful rug - what size is the thing? It looks HUMANGOUS.
I too would love a full house tour, please and thank you.
Paint colors, please! Especially that blue green color!! And seconded on the birds. It looks like a print or painting, but I can't be sure.
That radiator chair! Love it!
Both tranquil and invigorating. Inspiring. Exquisite carpet.
Yes house tour, please please please!!
IN LOVE!! =)
nice! love the color pallets and the eclecticism of it all
It took several clicks between the pictures to get a sense of the size and perspective of how things were laid out.
Very beautiful; please show us more!

Jarrett I LOVE your black and white bird photo. Can you please tell me where you got it?
Beautiful! Jarrett can you please tell me where you got the black and white bird photo? I LOVE IT!
Very interesting place. Especially love that wooden piece in the foyer.
Love this! Definitely house tour material.
Excellent!
Wow - one of my favorites for a long time. This is so elegant and serene and beautiful. The birds are Trove wallpaper, am I right?
Most of it looks so good... but the kitchen looks unaddressed.
Thanks for the comments. In reference to some of the questions:
Apteryx, Shopsol: yes the wallpaper of the birds is by trove: http://www.troveline.com/
The rug in the LR is actually Calvin Klein Home (there have a nice sampling at ABC Home in NYC as well as the Calvin Klein Collection store on Madison and 58th, also in NYC)
The radiator chair chair was my wife's addition! She sourced that from Anthropologie.
Just went to www.troveline.com and It solves so many problems in my future interior design plans. Question - does the photo show a single panel of the wallpaper that you installed? Can't tell from the pictures - if it is a single panel, how did you blend it into the wall, is that just an illusion in the photo, and are you happy just to let the seams show. Floor to ceiling art is novel - the place I may move to has 9 foot ceilings....
The image is only showing 1 of 6 panels --they run end-to-end along one way in our entryway so the background white is still paper.
The ceiling at right at 9' in this space as well. Trove has a great selection of paper. Note: the paper is really heavy duty, so any installer should pay close attention to the installation instructions because the paper tends to pull a lot.
Love this place. It's serene and the living room makes me think of being around water. Good mix of modern with some ?asian pieces thrown in. House tour please!
