We don't know about you, but we love before and afters. It's so cool to watch a room completely transform with key pieces of furniture and décor. As we find inspiration in the home offices readers have shared in our Perfect Workplace Contest, it's easy to feel inspired to give your own home office a makeover. This transformation is that extra push to make the change.

As she gears up to start her own organizing business, Jennifer realized she needed a true home office away from all the distractions that come with working from home. Having her office in her home's game room was the epitome of staying distracted, so she decided to move her workspace into a small sitting room that wasn't being used enough.

When Jennifer moved her desk, made by her husband and father in law, she decided it needed a punch of color so she wallpapered the top along with the cabinet doors on either side.

One of the cabinets holds her desktop tower, with a small hole bored into the side to allow for cables to snake out. Loose wires are kept in check with adhesive Velcro tape.

Jennifer spent a grand total of $223.27 for her makeover. You can read all about the transformation on I Heart Organizing.
