I love all of these, but especially the first one. I've always loved Jenny Lind style beds.
seriously, that first bed... *drool*
My 'grown up' bed, once I was out of a toddler bed, was a double Jenny Lind like the second pic. I still remember the little steps my dad had to build so that I could climb into bed! My mom still has it, and it's always a bit nostalgic to sleep in it when I visit. Memories!
I would love to know more about the name and history of this style. I think it is beautiful.
I would love to find a queen-size verson of the bed in picture #3.
If only we knew what design houses created the frames after #1!
So glad I found this- I've been searching for a king size wooden spindle bed but have had no luck. Where should I be looking??
