I'm an interior designer just starting out my own business, Jette Creative and the project I'm sending you is my first project (on my own) and is my own home in San Clemente, California. It's a historic home by Ole Hanson who was a prominent architect and developer in the area.
The space was in dire need of some love and some help showcasing it's charm. My fiance and I were able to bring it to life with fresh paint, new furniture, and custom lighting. We did the project on a budget, but made a huge impact. I work from home and the piece that has the largest impact for me (as you can see from the before and after image) is the office.
Our home became a great space to have people over, it allows for the beach life we love as well as a sophistication needed as we get older and are about to get married. It's bright, clean, and welcoming with combinations of old, new, playful, and ethic. One of the hardest things when moving in together for the first time is combing what lifestyles and furniture. I think our home is a great example of who we are together without leaving our past behind. I tried to look at our home in a practical way of working with a client(s). I would come up with ideas, we would talk about them, and discussion options on how to make those ideas a reality in a budget friendly way. All in all, we're really happy living here and are excited to share it.
Thanks, Jesse!

WOW I love that dining table!
Hi everyone! Thank you so much for the nice comments. It's a great place to live and work. The walnut dining table was made by an architect/metal fabricator in El Segundo. His site is: www.breakformdesign.com. His work is fantastic! The white floor in the office is actually epoxy floor over concrete from home depot. We love it! The rugs are from a craigslist find in Portland. Thanks again, the support is amazing!
