Meet Jessica Louise, a 21 year old student from England who has a bedroom that isn't exactly typical of your average twenty-something. From the amazing built in storage to the fantastic wallpaper choices and pairings, this room has it all. Click through the jump for a slideshow of this space that's full of as much personality as it is light.

Jessica's walls are seemingly void of some of typical things found in a room of someone this age. There are no rock posters or jars of ticket stubs and the room is not only pulled together, but done so in a manner that is elegant and cheerful.
We are fans of colorcoding, although we had never thought to do so with our dvd's. This bookcase sends our little hearts into a flutter with color envy!
Jewelry is out on display in family heirloom glassware.
Thanks for sharing your bedroom and photo skills with us Jessica!
Very well put together! I love the storage; we have something like it in our garage-turned-living-room and it's awesome!
Very pretty and feminine.
Would love to know where the bedroom wallpaper is from!
so crisp and clean!
Cut to me color-coding my DVDs
I'd love to know more about the wallpaper behind the bed!!
Color coding books, DVD's, clothes, etc. is growing full-force in the teens-to-early-twenties crowd.
Can someone I.D. the duvet fabric?
Here's some updates from Jessica on the room!
1) Both wallpapers are made by Harlequin
2) The artificial flowers are by SIA
3) The bedside lamp and chandelier are by Laura Ashley
4) The bedding is Descamps
5) The prints are from Etsy (pepperminte and lushbella)

Okay, I think I'll be colour coding my DVDs tonight. My former library-clerk boyfriend might kick my ass for it, though.
But since they're on wall mounted shelves... SO SMART.

I guess that's why I'm not into it. I understand color-coding clothes since I always remember what color the shirt I want to wear is. I don't get color-coding books or dvds. It looks nice, I guess, but the fact that those House (and other tv shows) season dvds are not together makes me twitch. I think I'll stick with my "ordering by genre, then alphabetically" method.
recently i've seen a few rooms on here that i've seen on livejournal first (in the ourbedrooms and saucydwellings communities). are the homeowners submitting them in both places, or is AT lurking livejournal for content?
21 year old and I also support sorting books and dvds in some systematic manner not based on color. I agree that it looks nice, but practicality is higher up on my list.
Heh, Linda, I've seen them on LJ as well. I'm pretty sure it's just saucydwellings, though - everything I've seen on here from LJ is from there.
Hi Linda,
There are a few AT bloggers that are members of saucydwellings, so there are times that they approach the OP for permission to showcase here. We are honored that posts from the comm make it over here and we will continue to support AT when we can.

Evita & Aad
Sarahrae--Jessica lost me at "artificial flowers".
