When I found out we were having a baby girl I didn't really know where to start as I had been in full blown boy mode for over 5 years.
So I started gathering ideas and photos of just girly things I liked. I definitely like feminine but not over the top fru-fru, ya know? And then a look started to come together. "Vintage" is a must in my home, but I also wanted her room to have bright, fun colors so I did my best to combine the two.
I also really like the homemade look and feel in a home compared to everything looking like it just fell out of the pages of a catalog (stylish or not) so almost everything in my daughter's nursery was handmade or painted by me and I think that gives it the ultimate personal touch.

I love everything about this!
Such a sweet room! I love the mobile and the frames!
Sweet and lovely! :)
Is this a re-post because I remember everything about this room.. very cute.
Why does this room look so familiar? Has it be on AP recently?
If it is a repost, then good for me. I missed it. It's lovely.
This is the sweetest nursery I think I've ever seen. Totally my style. In fact, I wouldn't mind my own bedroom looking like this! I particularly like the mobile.
Love the mobile.
