Aesthetically minded choices combined with pragmatic needs elicit inevitable ooh's and aah's in a visitor to Copenhagen....
Flowers sprouting in the winter gave many a Dane cause for alarm but also a secret sense of celebration.
From the lighting to the candles, the landscaping to the architecture, the snowsuit-clad toddlers to the fur wearing bicyclist--it's all worth taking in and emulating elsewhere on this earth.

Tons of thanks for presenting Copenhagen so beautifully, Jill. It's been great to see the city through your eyes. My usual mid-winter melancholy completely disappeared. Greetings from an AT fan in CPH ...
Jill, we at Normann Copenhagen are very proud that you came by our store at Trianglen, and we love your pictures. Feel free to drop by our little blog on:

we need those bike rack in NYC. i would love to bike to work at times, but there's never a place to lock your bike up.
Oh, gosh, the snowsuit clad toddlers--seeing them walk down the street single-file would always brighten my day!
