It's a bit of a slow news day in tech, which might explain how this dandy tech+fashion accessory landed in our inbox. Considering how many of our female friends misplace their smartphones on a consistent basis (especially busy moms), we could see this being useful when a wallet, purse or pockets are unavailable. Now for the HTC Titan II boxer briefs for the fellas?

JoeyBra, a sexy pocketed bra, offers two discreet pockets on the sides of the bra. While maintaining a low-profile and without changing the shape or fit of the bra, our pockets can carry a phone, ID & credit card, and a key.

uhmmmm, cancer?
I think my biggest concern would be water damage. I work for a cellular company and often times sweat can cause the water damage maker to change colors - thus negating the warranty on the phone. I understand what they are trying to do, but this just seems like a poorly placed compartment for the phone.
Seriously? If I were to respond to this gag item with seriousness, I'd point out that the very popular iPhone does not fit in that pocket well. That if women's clothing provided real pockets, and not either a)cut down versions, or b) fake pockets, this would never have been thought of. Lastly, if you carry anything substantial, like a phone, in that pocket you will have to dig it out, and it will ruin the lines of your clothing. Nothing says cool, like having mysterious lumps under your armpits.
I don't even mind admitting that I'll shove a credit card & ID or a house key in my bra when going out... but the times I've tried doing this with my cellphone have not been great. It's uncomfortable, and my bodyheat tends to make the phone unhappy as well.
Also, this appears to essentially be a pocket in a woman's armpit. Super awkward to access once clothing is on. Reaching into my shirt to grab my ID out of my bra might not be classy, but at least I'm not digging into my armpit.
I think this is some sort of health risk too. Considering that having a phone in such close proxitmity to your body is actually a cause of some forms of cancer, placing the pocket near such a... sensitive area... looks to me as it could be somewhat dangerous. (not that anyone cares about health risks from their smart phones.)
Not sure why this is posted on a home design blog.
Also thinking that the support that bra provides would be questionable.
I think this is awesome. I carry my phone in my bra all the time. It's a small Android, and I think it would fit perfectly.
If you actually think phones can cause cancer, then why do you own one? The main use is to place near your head for periods of time, so, wouldn't you be more worried about that?
This is a great idea. I don't use a purse and often my necessities won't fit in my pockets. I carry my keys, wallet and phone. This works for me!
