This collection of lighting constructed from plumber's pipe and fittings caught my eye a while back while doing a store profile. The designs have a great industrial feel and look like a DIY that your amazing artist/designer friend who just happens to know how to hardwire (without fear of electrocution) threw together.
Except it isn't. Well, unless you happen to be acquainted personally with John Atwater, the local Boston TV anchor/reporter (yep, that John Atwater) who was inspired by his electrical engineer dad to pick up the hobby.
You can pick up the lighting exclusively at J.E.M.

Sheex Bedding
Hey! what is that type of bulb and fixture called. I've seen it in a few places and want to try making a few fixtures in my own home. Lemme know.
I love that this exact piece was what drew me into the store this week! Who knew that he actually create it!?
Great minds!!! Different generations. I made a nearly "twin" of that lamp back in 1972. I've still got it and, by golly, it still works.
