Johnny Boo: The Best Little Ghost in the World

Johnny Boo - a graphic novel series for the kindergarten crowd. Chock full of burping, butt wiggling, ice cream cravings, and chases, these books were definitely created with kids in mind. In fact, in an effort to maximize the entertainment value, author James Kochalka consulted with his preschooler on the early drafts of each book, editing out anything his son didn't find particularly funny or engaging.

With a plot driven primarily by cute conversations and a fair amount of slapstick, Johnny Boo follows the adventures of a friendly, yet self-important ghost (who looks like a cross between Elvis and the Pillsbury Doughboy), his chummy ghost pet/sidekick Squiggles, and a one-eyed, well-intentioned, bumbling creature called the Ice Cream Monster.

We think Johnny Boo is silly and ridiculously fun for all-ages. Not to mention, no surprise, it's endorsed by Yo Gabba Gabba's DJ Lance Rock.
